From Greenwich to Monroe, and everything in between, Fairfield County boasts of beauty, sophistication and charm. With a striking variety of architecture, surrounded by luscious greenery and numerous lakes and reservoirs, Fairfield County attracts many types of people looking for a place to call home.

Most Desirable Towns
Fairfield County has nearly thirty towns within its geographic area, each with its own unique personality. As Fairfield County continues to grow in its desirability, so does the popularity of its many towns. I’ve spotlighted a few of the favorites.

Newtown is growing increasingly popular, with increased economic activity and affordable new construction, it is a good choice.

Redding, known for its windy roads, large parcels of land and farmhouse antiques, it is a popular choice for many.

Ridgefield has been named Connecticut’s #1 town on many occasions as a result of its charm and superior school system.

Other Fairfield County towns include Bethel, Bridgeport, Brookfield, Danbury, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Monroe, New Canaan, New Fairfield, Norwalk, Shelton, Sherman, Stamford, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston, Westport and Wilton.

On Education
Education can be at the forefront of the decision-making process and can make or break a real estate deal. Whether you have children in school, or want to ensure that your real estate investment is completely sound, check out the school district in your buying area. Each town has their own web site and can direct towards specific information on education in their area. For specific school districts, take a look at a School district map provided as a service of the US census.

Recreation
